Members and visitors to Mannings Heath Golf Club near Horsham are set to benefit from a £250,000 investment programme in the Sussex venue.

Despite the current protracted financial crisis the 36 hole property is undergoing a comprehensive make over. Forty six EZGO electric buggies are being introduced for the Waterfall and Kingfisher Courses this Summer and work is due to start in May on a contemporary spike bar lounge which will open out to a newly refurbished terrace with wooden gazebo to compliment the existing 17th century clubhouse.

This is part of Exclusive Hotels on-going commitment to invest in the award winning venue and more recently the country house hotel group has restored a quaint 19th century cottage situated next to the clubhouse for luxury Golf Breaks. Fullers Cottage can accommodate up to eight guests and among the features are a cosy lounge with original open fireplace, four bedrooms, a private garden, TV & DVD, club storage, free WiFi and full use of all the Clubhouse facilities including the AA Rosetted Goldings Restaurant, Spike Bar and steam room.

For golfers keen to get onto the Waterfall Course, the jewel in the crown of Sussex golf, this is the perfect opening to this Top 100 course which is reserved for members and their guests, corporate golf days and now, for residents of the Exclusive Cottage. The package includes bed & breakfast, a three-course dinner in Goldings Restaurant at the golf club, use of the driving range and 18 holes on the prestigious, members only Waterfall Course as well as 18 holes on the green-fee only Kingfisher and is £89 per person.

Mannings Heath is a long established 36-hole venue situated in 500 acres of stunning parkland.

The 100 year old, members only Waterfall Course has received considerable praise in recent years and when the legendary golfer Gary Player played the course he remarked the par 4 11th hole was “one of the best 18 holes in the world”. In contrast the Kingfisher Course is a more modern open layout offering a different challenge for visitors but a superbly presented course all year round.
