Gleneagles, the iconic Scottish hotel, sporting estate and global luxury destination, has unveiled a new outdoor dining and entertainment space adjoining its Dormy Clubhouse, giving members and guests a new ‘al fresco’ food and drinks experience this summer.

The new 50-cover outdoor terrace overlooks the 18th greens of The King’s and The Queen’s golf courses. Served exclusively by its Auchterarder 70 Bar, featuring craft beers, local gins and moreish light bites, It offers golfers and their guests the perfect place to raise a glass against the iconic backdrop of its two James Braid-designed championship golf courses, and the spectacular Ochil Hills beyond.

Consistently voted the #1 Golf Resort in UK & Ireland, Gleneagles continues to invest in its five-star luxury customer experience, only recently also completing an upgrade to its halfway house serving golfers on The King’s and The Queen’s.

Andrew Jowett, Director of Golf at Gleneagles, said: “Our stunning location in the heart of Perthshire is one of our biggest assets and by creating this new, bespoke outdoor terrace space alongside the Dormy Clubhouse, we are offering members, golfers and hotel guests an opportunity to relax with truly breathtaking vistas. I can think of no better outdoor location to toast the conclusion of a special golfing day at Gleneagles.”
