For the third year in a row, the heroic team at The Revenue Club have conquered the 72 hole golfing marathon at Get Golfing’s Ansty Golf Centre in Coventry. In a bid to raise vital funds for the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital Charity, 16 members of the company’s staff joined forces and completed the challenge in 14 hours.
The fundraising attempt was taken on in support of company director, Chris Knight, who has undergone further treatment at the hospital this year to remove a tumour from his lung, following a cancer diagnosis in 2024. The successful procedure meant he was able to take to the fairways for the four rounds, just two months after the operation.
“I cannot thank the team at LHCH enough for the care and expertise they’ve dedicated to me over the last few months. I have been a fortunate beneficiary of exceptional treatment from the highly skilled NHS staff, and I am hugely grateful to them all for their empathy and professionalism,” sSaid Chris Knight following the challenge.
“It was a privilege to be able to help raise awareness for the work they do by returning the support in a small way. And it was humbling to have the backing of our superb team at The Revenue Club and friends across the industry to raise money for the important work they do at LCHC.”
The collective efforts of the UK and Ireland’s biggest golf focussed agency have now passed £3,000 in the funds they’ve raised, and the page is still open for donations to anyone who would like to support at https://www.justgiving.com/page/the-revenue-club-longest-day
