Tony Clark

Swingrite has called on marketing expert Tony Clark to raise international and domestic awareness of its Centre Cup® and Centre Cup Pro Short Game Systems.

Clark built the Explanar training aid into a profitable global brand in just three years before leaving in April 2009 and sees the same potential with Centre Cup, Centre Cup Pro and Swingrite.

He said: “I’m excited not just about the choice of the Centre Cup Short Game Systems available now but also Swingrite’s future and the new product development plans. There is tremendous scope and I’m delighted I’ll be playing a leading role in Swingrite’s expansion.”

The appointment of Clark is a natural progression for Swingrite and also a coup for the company.

Ian Melville, Swingrite managing director and a PGA professional, said: “We consider ourselves fortunate to have secured the services of Tony Clark whose success in the industry is well documented. With the Centre Cup and Centre Cup Pro Short Game Systems now used successfully by more than 170 PGA professionals in the UK and Europe we believe the time is right to expand our team.”
