Stuart Hackwell Named Director Of Rain Bird’s Golf SBU

Rain Bird has named Stuart Hackwell the director of its Golf Strategic Business Unit. Hackwell will be responsible for growing Rain Bird Golf’s presence worldwide including sales, distribution, marketing, engineering and product development.

Hackwell has been with Rain Bird for 27 years, joining the company in 1992 as an area sales manager in Eastern Canada. In 1997, he was promoted to the position of regional sales manager in Canada before joining Rain Bird’s Golf SBU as a regional sales manager for the Eastern United States in 2003. From there, he rose to become the Golf SBU’s international sales manager, responsible for Asia and Latin America. Most recently, Hackwell has served as Rain Bird Golf’s national sales manager in the United States.
