Sales of PGA Collection products in the UK have been growing steadily over the past few years. This season, with all the golf initiatives encouraging new golfers, has seen a substantial growth in sales.

Richard Jewell, MD of Sigma Golf, the company responsible for bringing the PGA Collection to the market said: “Before we began a serious marketing campaign into Europe we wanted to ensure that we had everything in place in the UK. We feel now, that with the customised 7-iron programme, aimed specifically at the entry-level golfer, and the value customised sets for seniors and ladies, we are able to offer a unique service to fellow PGA professionals.

“Initially we will be working with four agents covering Sweden, Austria, Germany, Portugal and Spain, with further countries coming on line in the future. We looked at various routes to the European market and decided on Faber Aureus as they are specialists in taking products to international markets around the globe.”

A new website has been developed and will be live shortly, www.pgacollection.eu, which will enable professionals in Europe to order directly online, with products being despatched from Sigma Golf in Gloucester.
