PGC Group, one of Europe’s leading golf equipment distribution companies, has announced the acquisition of driving range supply business Range King B.V and UK-based online golf equipment distribution company Golfsupport, in order to strengthen its multi-channel offering and enter new European markets.
PGC Group was created in July 2020 following the buy-out of a majority stake by Inspiring Sport Capital in the capital of Piguy Golf Challenge. PGC Group is the leader in the distribution of golf equipment in France through its subsidiary Piguy Golf Challenge, which distributes more than 40 golf brands through pro shops and golf retail stores, and the European leader in driving range and course equipment through its Dutch subsidiary, Duchell B.V.
Range King, like Duchell, specialises in the B2B distribution of driving range and golf course equipment. The aim is to provide customers with a wide choice of products and services in order to support them in accelerating their own growth and development.
Golfsupport is one of the European leaders in online golf equipment distribution, generating about half of its turnover in the UK and a third in continental Europe.
The acquisition of Golfsupport will not only enable PGC Group to penetrate the British market, but also to establish its online distribution capability, thus integrating a new distribution channel and the expansion of the brands already distributed.

Following the acquisition of Range King and GolfSupport, PGC Group is projecting to double its turnover in 2021 and generate more than €30 million in revenue.
