PING Collection, Europe’s leading golf performance clothing brand, announce the recruitment of a new Sales Agent for Sweden. 43-year-old Håkan Johansson, of Boras, Sweden, will help develop the brand throughout the region.

“We’re thrilled to have Håkan on board as PING Collection’s agent for Sweden. It’s another step forward for us and we hope this appointment will help develop our brand in the area. Sweden is an important golf market, and Håkan’s recruitment will certainly improve our presence,” said Jacqueline Price, PING Collection’s European Key Account Manager. “We see huge potential for growth in Sweden, and I’m sure Håkan will build on the successes we’ve already had in Scandinavia.”

Håkan, who will join with immediate effect, is vastly experience and well respected in the golf trade and has vital industry expertise.

“Sweden is a tougher European market. It’s crowded and therefore a difficult place to establish a brand. I represent several Swedish brands that already have a firm footing, but none of them have the strength of PING behind them,” he said.

“Our aim is to ride on the success PING in Sweden. We’ll be focusing on golf and general sports stores, pro-shops and even fashion outlets. I’m confident all will embrace the quality of the garments we offer in both the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter collections.”
