Hole18 Ltd, the Scottish based golf business improvement and advisory service has launched a new website aimed at helping golf business owners and managers to achieve their growth and profit targets www.hole18.co.uk

John Quinn, Hole18 Ltd’s managing director is one of only 50 Master Greenkeepers worldwide and has 27 years experience in the UK golf Industry in project and whole facility management roles. Previously the director of golf developments at Elmwood College, John set up Hole18 Ltd in 2003 to offer technical and business advisory services to the UK golf Industry.

He said, “The site has just one aim: to give golf business owners and managers access to the most effective strategies available anywhere, to help them succeed in their current position or business by focusing on growth and profit….

“In these turbulent times golf business owners and managers need a targeted service that understands them and their industry in order to get best value for every pound spent. We provide a range of niche services to help our clients realise their growth and profit ambitions by helping them to build sound leadership, teams and systems into their business”

The company’s services include ‘Rent a Manager’ which John says is a service that has been needed for a long time in the UK golf industry. There are critical points in the growth of every business when specialist management help is needed. In times of crisis the right help at the right price can be the only point of difference between success and failure.

Also in the current financial climate, clubs and proprietary courses often need leadership and/or strong management when a key member of the management team leaves. Rent a Manager is a quick, effective and economical solution focussed purely on results.
