New agency for Powakaddy

PowaKaddy International, market leaders in golf cart technology and development, has appointed sports marketing agency, Professional Sports Ventures Ltd (PSV) to handle their worldwide PR efforts.

With the fresh impetus that PowaKaddy have created in the last 18 months, mainly due to the new corporate identity, younger positioning and stylish new product offering, the management team felt it was important to work with an agency who can help lift the brand up to an even higher level.

As PowaKaddy’s managing director John de Graft Johnson commented, “PSV have an impressive track record not only for effectively communicating the key messages for market leaders such as Titleist and FootJoy but also for contributing to the revitalisation of brands such as Cobra and Pinnacle. We felt that this skill set was ideal for PowaKaddy’s current positioning. Another major objective is to continue to expand the appeal of PowaKaddy products to a wider golfing audience. “ We have seen a growing trend in recent years for the younger generations to more readily embrace the performance benefits of a PowaKaddy,” says sales director David Wells. “Golfers of all age groups and abilities can benefit from using a PowaKaddy by conserving their energy for actually playing the game”

For PSV, the new Powakaddy account sits very well alongside the current client base. “PowaKaddy is a world class brand that dominates the market for powered carts worldwide. They have become a major player in the golf industry and we are extremely privileged to be working on the brand.
