Lynx Appoints Danish Distributor

11.00am 22nd April 2014 - Corporate

Lynx logoLynx Golf, the fast-growing, family-owned golf equipment brand, is expanding into the Scandinavian market with the appointment of Danish Golf Trading (DGT) as its distributor in the territory.

Danish Golf Trading, based centrally near Silkeborg, has a long history as a distributor of golf equipment in Denmark and worked previously with Lynx before it became a UK-owned brand.

Run by Aage and Mona Roed, DGT delivers to most Danish Pro shops and has a supply agreement with the largest Danish chain of pro shops – Pro Shop Denmark – with 39 members. They are also developing distribution in Sweden and Norway.

Aage, a professional clubfitter, said: “The high technical standard and the newest technology offered by Lynx is an extra advantage when working with a brand. We are delighted to again be able to offer Lynx products to our Pro shop customers, and are convinced that the new and innovative ranges will be well accepted on the market.”

Mona added: “It is especially nice for me to see the focus Lynx has on lady golfers, who are often neglected by other brands.”

Owners of Lynx, Stephanie Zinser and Steve Elford, expressed their own excitement at having “quality people with a long-standing reputation for service, sensibility and sensitivity to their own market” on board with the brand.

Said Stephanie: “Again, the Cat lunges forward. After time in the shadows, we continue to stamp our presence back on the market – a place where Lynx was once held in highest regard and where we most definitely intend it to be again.”

Lynx Golf continues to establish itself as the most forward-thinking and exciting equipment brand in Europe and is dedicated to supporting ‘green grass’ Pro shop business, with more than 400 accounts in the UK.
