Keynote speakers announced for inaugural Jenahura Tour Academy Seminar

Former two-time European Tour winner and Ryder Cup star Andrew Coltart will open the inaugural Jenahura Tour Academy (JTA) Seminar programme being at Bearwood Lakes Golf Club on April 24.

Coltart, who now works as an on-course commentator and presenter for Sky Sports Golf, will set the stage for two days of education and enlightenment for the founder student members of the Jenahura Tour Academy at the Berkshire venue.

The Jenhaura Group, which was founded in 2004 and is run by former PGA Professional Martyn Norris, and assisted by Tour Academy Director Jamie Elson. Jenahura currently manages a stable of tour players, including Richard McEvoy (pictured above, centre), Jamie Elson, James Heath, Ben Amor and Josh White.

Day one of the two-day timetable of seminars will feature presentations from former European Tour player and Ryder Cup star Coltart; JTA Academy Director Jamie Elson; world-renowned chiropractor and founder of Core Clinics, Stefaan Vossen; and PGA Professional David Kearney, a PGAs of Europe 5-star PGA Professional and leading performance coach.

The second day of the academy will feature a talk from Billy Foster, one of the most in-demand caddies in world golf, whowill share his knowledge about life on tour and the art of course management. Foster will be joined by Chris Sells, founder of StrokeAverage.com, who has pioneered the golf statistics business and worked with many of the game’s biggest stars, including Major champions and a Ryder Cup teams.

The extensive seminar programme aims to provide JTA students with a solid starting platform to get their golf career on the right track, while follow-up workshops will be arranged throughout the year with experts from the world of golf and peak performance to further enhance student knowledge.

We are certain that the academy will play an important role in helping young people to learn more about the business they are in, and how to succeed in it. It will be fantastic to help players achieve their goals.”

Working closely with the closely with the European Tour Foundation, JTA will also provide exclusive opportunities to meet European Tour players, starting at the Betfred British Masters at Hillside Golf Club in May.
