Despite some appalling weather the new Direct Golf UK Superstore in Milton Keynes received an overwhelming response for its Grand Opening. Indeed it was the staff that was ‘snowed under’ as customers, braving the Arctic conditions, flocked to take advantage of some great offers over the pre-Christmas weekend.

Store Manager, Giles Morris, commented: “We had an awesome response. It was very encouraging to see so many golfers in the store picking up the great bargains on offer.”

The impressive 4,000 sq foot store boasts a start-of-the-art Simulator and launch monitor giving golfers the ability to demo all the latest equipment from all the leading brands on-site and benefit from Direct Golf’s full custom-fitting service offered by its PGA Professional staff.

With a large indoor putting green, double driving bay and excellent parking – the new Milton Keynes superstore is perfectly equipped to epitomise Direct Golf UK’s ‘total customer satisfaction’ pledge.

Speaking after the Milton Keynes store opening, Neil Bell, Managing Director for Direct Golf UK, commented: “I am delighted by the turnout from our loyal customer database, with the snowy conditions it was fantastic to get such great support for our new store grand opening. Customers were queuing at the till all morning on Saturday and it was great to see so many people taking advantage of the great deals on offer.”

After a frenzy of activity in the morning the weather took a turn for the worse with over 6 inches of snow falling in just a couple of hours. Although the whiteout will have distracted many from travelling, some customers still managed to get there on foot.

For golfers unable to get to the store during the grand opening weekend due to the weather in surrounding areas, limited offers have been extended during this week, while stocks last.
