A golfer from West Sussex has won the golf trip of a lifetime thanks to Lynx, ‘the fastest-growing equipment brand in golf’.

Philip Burns, a member at Goodwood Golf Club, scooped the exclusive main prize in Lynx’s special online promotion to celebrate the launch of their  #LoveStory TV ad.

He will be flying by private jet with three friends for a luxury stay at the famous La Manga golf resort in Spain and said: “I am delighted to have won this incredible prize and am especially pleased to be part of the resurgence of Lynx Golf.

“I’m not usually this lucky and I can’t wait for the trip to happen. It will be a fabulous experience. Thanks to Lynx for sharing the love!”

Thousands of golfers entered the Lynx #LoveStory giveaway, which carried a huge £65,000 prize fund and also included free Boom Boom 3 drivers, Boom Boom iron sets, a year’s supply of golf balls, Swash by Lynx Putters, Tigress drivers and irons and Lynx stand and cart bags.

Said Stephanie Zinser, CFO of Lynx Golf, which is family-owned and based in the UK:  “We were delighted with the response to the #LoveStory competition which really captured the imagination of golfers everywhere.

“We’re currently dispatching prizes to all corners of the UK – from Edinburgh to the South west of England – and it’s exciting that so many golfers will be enjoying their new Lynx equipment.

“And we’re especially pleased for Philip. He’s a keen golfer and a lovely guy and he was totally surprised when we broke the news that’s he’d scooped the main prize.”
