GMG Roadshow Hailed As ‘Huge Success’

Mere Resort & Spa in Cheshire provided the backdrop for the latest Golf Management Group trade show on 4th October. Over 200 guests representing 120 Golf Clubs attended the event from across the UK.

18 holes of golf on the Open qualifying course was provided, whilst 45 golf club suppliers showcased their services and products to General Managers , Club Secretaries , Treasurers and club officials alike.

Gary Firkin from Landmark Media delivered a Marketing seminar focussing on “How to attract more members and retain current members” which was gratefully received by all attendees.

Peter Greville from Wirral Ladies GC stated: “The amount of money we have saved without sacrificing quality has been tremendous. The day as a whole has been excellent, and the marketing seminar was extremely useful.”

As the buying group moves towards 400 golf club members across the country the combined savings to individual clubs continues to rise. Since their launch in 2010 GMG has now saved golf clubs a staggering £2 million.
