European launch for PGA Collection

8.25am 30th September 2003 - Corporate

With ever tougher competition from high street sports chains and the decreasing margins available from the leading brands, many golf pros do little more than break even on equipment sales.
There is a solution. The PGA Collection, started six years ago, offers a comprehensive range of equipment, footwear and clothing created exclusively for PGA professionals from a British company.
Although the Collection undercuts the brand names in terms of price, there is no trade off in quality. Unlike many of its rivals, Sigma Golf assembles its products in the UK and can therefore offer a full customisation service at no additional cost.
Over 700 members have already signed up and this success in the UK has prompted Sigma Golf to expand the concept into Europe. Agents have already being appointed in many countries including Germany, Austria, France and southern Ireland.
There is no doubt that the European professionals are starting to find retailing tough and the need for an exclusive range of equipment has never been more important.
Every golfer has heard of the PGA and no doubt associates that name with quality golf. PGA professionals should never underestimate the creditability and the value of their own PGA name.
New products are continually being introduced to the range and will be on show at Golf Europe this year on stand number 335-6. The PGA Collections offers:
