eGolfScore UK, the leading provider of real-time wireless scoring for individual golfers as well as corporate, celebrity and charity golf events, has been appointed the Official Scoring System (OSS) for the 2010 3 Irish Open Pro Am and Media Golf Days, by The European Tour.

eGolfScore UK, based in Virginia Water, has established itself as Europe’s leading real-time wireless scoring company which offers a unique service, ensuring amateur golfers experience the benefits of live scoring like their professional golfer counterparts. This agreement further demonstrates the growing popularity of eGolfScore’s Event Scoring Program (eSP), while also meeting the needs of The European Tour and their sponsor of The Irish Open, 3.

“These are very exciting times for eGolfScore world-wide. With such a difficult current economic backdrop the success and expansion of eGolfScore is confirmation of the quality and value of our scoring system,” said Paul Fenton, Director, eGolfScore UK. “We are privileged to be working in partnership with the European Tour, and we look forward to establishing a deeper relationship with The European Tour beyond this agreement.

As part of the agreement, eGolfScore will provide real-time wireless scoring at the 3 Irish Open Media day in advance of the tournament. Following this, eGolfScore will also supply its Event Scoring Program (eSP) for both the European Tour Pro am & the 3 Irish Open Pro Am on Wednesday 28th July 2010 at The Killarney Golf & Fishing Club.

“The European Tour prides itself on enhancing and improving the Pro-Am experience for all of our clients each year,” said James Finnigan, Marketing Executive, The European Tour. “Working closely with valued partners like eGolfScore certainly helps us deliver on our commitments to our sponsors and their guests. Although our events are already very special, eGolfScore will help to make that experience even more unique for all golfers participating in the Pro Am’s and Media Golf Day.”

“Our eGolfScore UK Team continues to strengthen relationships with the best, most prestigious golf organizations in the United Kingdom and other European countries” said Joe Kaplan, Co-Founder and CEO of eGolfScore. “Organizations that want to provide the best experience possible for their clients will greatly benefit from our system.
