DSG Global Strikes Deal with GSE: assumes control of GPS Solutions on UK Courses

DSG Tag Systems bundle imageDSG Global Inc. (OTCQB: DSGT) and Golf Solutions Europe (GSE) have reached an agreement that will see DSG assume control of the GPS solutions for 5 of GSE’s client courses effective immediately.

The changeover is part of a deal negotiated between DSG and GSE over the past few months and finally executed last week.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Robert “Bob” Silzer, Sr. “We’re talking about some of the best courses in the UK and now they will have the global leader in GPS based fleet management solutions working directly with them.”

The courses include MacDonald Portal Hotel Golf & Spa in Cheshire, Stapleford Park in Leicestershire, Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire, Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa in Southport and Carton House in Kildare, Ireland.

“It was a great choice to have DSG installed in our buggy fleet,” said Gerry Duffy, Golf Operations Manager at Carton House. “Carton House has been using the DSG TAG tracking system and interactive TOUCH screens for a number of years and we are very happy with the service provided. The DSG TAG system enables us to track the whereabouts of all buggies along with assisting in monitoring the pace of play on the courses on any given day. It also allows us to keep a watch on the battery levels and restrict the buggies from entering certain areas of the course. We know exactly where every buggy is at all times. And the DSG TOUCH screens are the WOW factor for our members and guests.”

The DSG solutions are modular and begin with the low-cost TAG, an advanced GPS tracking solution that mounts out-of-sight under the hood of any golf car, or turf equipment. From there, courses can add on the TEXT or the TOUCH, an interactive touch screen with real-time, ball-to-pin yardage calculations, pro-tips, food and beverage ordering and pace-of-play monitoring.

“It’s important to us that these prestigious courses not only continue to receive great customer service during the transition, but that we take it to a new level for them with our suite of solutions.” added Daniel Price, Technical Operations Manager at DSG.

There are several exciting new benefits the UK courses will have access to now that DSG has assumed ownership, but the one that everyone is talking about at the moment is DSG’s r3 advertising revenue program. The UK courses already have advertising running on their DSG TOUCH screens and they are making revenue, but the new market-based r3 program will soon bring automated advertising to their screens and will fill in the gaps while increasing revenues for them by 3X.
