Direct Golf UK: Fourth Store Opening In Five Months

Direct Golf's new store in Reading

Direct Golf UK, the leading multi-channel golf retailer is following up their recent store openings in Peterborough, Milton Keynes and Farnborough with another new Superstore in Reading.

With the recent openings the Reading Superstore is the very latest to be added to the company’s portfolio and highlights their drive and ambition to open new sites in popular locations. Neil Bell, Managing Director for Direct Golf UK, commented: “These are exciting times for the company and we are delighted to secure the Reading site as part of our expansion plans. The recent new store openings have shown how the demand for Direct Golf UK retail outlets has grown as a direct response from the public.”

The impressive 5,000 sq foot high-street store will host a Grand Opening over the weekend of the 19th and 20th March, boasting a start-of-the-art Global Play golf simulator giving local golfers the ability to demo all the latest equipment on-site and benefit from Direct Golf’s full custom-fitting service offered by its PGA Professional staff. With an indoor putting green, specialist clothing section, ladies and junior areas plus excellent parking, the new superstore is perfectly equipped to epitomise Direct Golf UK’s ‘total customer satisfaction’ pledge.

Store Manager and PGA Professional, Bruce Hunter, commented: “This is a great location with some fantastic courses within a stone’s throw. Our aim is to offer the most complete golf service available from beginner to aspiring Professional you will find everything you need in our store. All our senior staff are fully trained and have a minimum of 10 years experience in the golf industry.”
