The new Direct Golf UK Superstore in Peterborough broke all previous store opening weekends for this site by achieving an excellent response from the local and valued database during its Grand Opening, even during these recent wintery conditions. With a constant footfall over the two days customers were eager to take advantage of some stunning opening offers.
Speaking after the Peterborough store opening, Neil Bell, Managing Director for Direct Golf UK, commented: “I am delighted that our loyal customer database reacted in the cold and wintery weather with great support of our new store grand opening. Customers were queuing at the till all day and it was great to see so many happy faces as people grabbed the bargains on offer”.

Regional Manager Alistair Burns was extremely encouraged by the number of customer visiting the store, “it was great to see so many new faces and meet fellow golfers with a passion and desire for the game. Even in the poor weather with local courses closed I was surprised by the number of people prepared to travel to visit us. From here we can only go from strength to strength.”
