Your Golf Travel has announced the appointment of Andrew ‘Chubby’ Chandler to its board as a non-executive director.

Chandler is the chief executive and founder of International Sport Management, whose clients include Your Golf Travel ambassadors Darren Clarke, Lee Westwood and Rhys Enoch.

“We’re delighted to welcome Chubby to the Your Golf Travel board,” Ross Marshall, chief executive said. “This represents an extension of the relationship fostered between YGT and ISM over the last two years, initially with our sponsorship of Darren, and now Rhys and Lee.

“We will use Chubby’s expertise in player sponsorship and activation, his experience of working with the professional tours and his involvement in tour events – including this week’s Turkish Airlines Open. We also hope to utilise his knowledge and strong relationships in international markets in helping guide the company’s expansion.”

Andrew ‘Chubby’ Chandler said: “I was honoured to be asked to become a non-executive director of Your Golf Travel and delighted to accept.   It is the most enterprising and pro-active company in its market and I am sure it will continue to deliver in all aspects of its business.”

Chandler founded ISM in 1989 and helped it become one of the leading sports management agencies in the world. Today ISM handles the affairs of more than 30 professional golfers, including major champions Clarke and Louis Oosthuizen, plus former World No.1 Westwood.
