Callaway Golf Europe Ltd has announced a product introduction strategy for 2001 which comprises several new initiatives. It is designed to involve all of its customers at a much earlier stage than usual in order to prepare all parties thoroughly for the 2001 season.
A private viewing of the new 2001 Callaway and Odyssey product range has been organised for 13th November at a venue in Marbella, Spain. Guests have been invited to attend a product presentation, test the new product and play a round of golf at some of the best courses on the Marbella coast.
The event will coincide with the Première Golf 2000 Trade Show, which runs November 14th to 17th, and the WGC American Express Championship at Valderrama, which concludes November 12th.
In announcing this event, Patrice Hutin, President Callaway Golf Europe said, “This is part of our new product launch strategy, one which aims to meet our customers’ needs in the most effective and inspirational manner possible. We hope to develop many more exciting events and concepts in the future and we are confident that this will be a very successful means of launching our 2001 product line.”
Callaway Golf will also be holding a series of stock rooms around Europe from the middle of October onwards. This will be an opportunity for all of Callaway’s Preferred Retailers to view the new 2001 Callaway & Odyssey product range in detail with their local area sales managers and make bookings for the 2001 season.
