eGolfScore, the leading provider of wireless scoring for individual golfers as well as corporate, celebrity and charity golf events across North America, Europe and Australasia has announced the launch of eGolfScore UK

eGolfScore’s events across the United Kingdom were managed and directed by eGolfScore UK, established in June 2006 by Paul Fenton and Richard Woolley. Seasoned professionals in the golf industry with over a total of 25 years experience, the eGolfScore UK team boasts golf management experience at the Wentworth Club (UK), Basingstroke Golf Club (UK), Mount Juliet (Ireland) and the K Club (Ireland).

“eGolfScore UK’s main focus will be corporate golf events looking to benchmark themselves as leaders in corporate golf days within their respective industries,” said Paul Fenton, director eGolfScore UK. “The corporate golf market is always looking for ways to distinguish their golf days and to ensure a highly-unique experience – we plan to deliver that to the UK market as we introduce eGolfScore to everyone involved in golf and business.

“Secondly, eGolfScore UK will target private golf clubs and golf management organisations looking for ways to distinguish their golf days from others. By “building in” the eGolfScore wireless scoring system into their golf packages, they will be able to offer a unique selling point over their competitors.”

Since June 2006, eGolfScore UK has served as the official scoring system at five HSBC regional golf days, The HSBC World Match Play Pro Am and several other corporate golf events.
