American Golf to open new superstore at Manchester’s Trafford Golf Centre

American Golf, Europe’s largest golf retailer, is set to open a new £650,000 superstore at Trafford Golf Centre in Manchester next month.

Opening to the public on April 12, in line with other non-essential retail, the new store will feature three custom fitting bay with GCQuad technology, as well as the UK’s first digitally-controlled Zen Green Stage.

Used in the Sky Sports TV studio, the Zen Green Stage will enable golfers to tackle a limitless variety of breaking putts while testing out the wide range of equipment in store. 

Up to 15 new jobs are being created at the new store, where visitors can take advantage of a free custom fitting session. Enhanced Putter Fittings are also available, as is a Club Check, which offers an MOT-style service for your own equipment.

With more people taking up the sport, American Golf’s Trafford store now offers a New Starter Experience, where a custom fit specialist will advise on the basic kit needed to start enjoying the game. This free of charge service can be booked here.  

Trafford Golf Centre is the UK’s most popular golf range and home to The Academy, with 10 PGA teaching professionals offering coaching to all levels, from beginner through to experienced golfer. Each of the venue’s 53 bays include Power Tee and Toptracer, with refreshments available directly to your bay from the on-site Starbucks café. 

American Golf store opens for Click & Collect on 29 March

Trafford Golf Centre will reopen on March 29, while the American Golf store also opens for Click & Collect on this date, before fully opening on April 12.
