Adams Golf Bolsters Yes! Golf (UK & Europe) Ltd

Adams Golf’s acquisition in January of Yes! Golf has been absent from the news pages in Britain but the new owners have not been idle.

As a show of confidence in the future for the brand in the UK & Ireland, Adams this week signalled its intention to keep in place the UK sales and service organization of Yes! Golf UK & Europe Ltd. as the official distributors for Yes! C-Groove Putters.

Yes! Golf has a great technology platform (C-Groove Technology) and has built a strong brand image since 2004, with over 100 professional tournaments (including several majors) having been won by players using Yes! Putters.

“Yes! Golf UK and Europe Ltd. have been instrumental to the success of the brand and we are pleased to continue that relationship,” said Jay Allen, Vice President, Sales and International Operations for Adams Golf.

According to Yes! Golf (UK) boss Peter Allison, Adams Golf soon established that the brand’s biggest competitive advantage in the UK & Ireland is built on service levels within the trade and high profile specialist revenue-generators like the Yes! Golf Custom-fitting Centres, first established in the UK and now an operation-under-licence with over 60 such facilities between Ireland and Belek in Turkey.

“Trade support continues to be really important to our business in the British Isles,” commented Peter Allison. “The uncertainty of recent months means that our 1600 retail accounts have needed a lot of reassurance and that’s perfectly understandable. But orders are picking up and we trained two new custom-fitting teams just last month from clubs in Yorkshire and Essex. Some continued decent weather now is all we need and that will be a perfect start of season.”

A new 8-putter range for 2011 has just landed in the UK too with a noticeably improved finish, courtesy of new manufacturing processes.
