A new clubhouse at the National Golf Centre at Woodhall Spa is scheduled for completion in autumn 2027, with a contemporary design drawing on the character and architecture of the surrounding Lincolnshire area.

The building, which has been designed by Windsor-based G1 Architects, the team behind the art deco-style clubhouse at Cabot Highlands, will reinterpret the traditional golf clubhouse, combining local materials and architectural influences with modern construction.

Its positioning and layout have been planned to maximise views across the Hotchkin course, keeping the golfing landscape central to the experience for members and visitors.

Sustainability, operational efficiency and high-quality materials are priorities for the £9 million development. The plans emphasise welcoming, flexible spaces intended to enhance the clubhouse experience while ensuring the building responds sensitively to its surroundings.

A dedicated Heritage Room will celebrate the history of England Golf and Woodhall Spa Golf Club, providing a link between the National Golf Centre’s past and its future development.

Temporary clubhouse facilities are currently operating from Woodhall Spa’s Conference Centre during construction. These include a small reception area and locker provision for members and visiting golfers. The food and beverage operation has remained fully operational and unaffected throughout the transition to the new building.
