Callaway to sponsor Junior World Championships

Callaway Golf has become the title sponsor of the Junior World Golf Championships. The Championships will be played 16 ? July at seven courses across San Diego County, marking the event’s 35th anniversary.

The Callaway Golf Junior World Golf Championships are a series of 10 individual stroke play tournaments for boys and girls in five separate age groups, from 6- to 8-year olds up to 15- to 17-year olds. The total field size for the event exceeds 1,000 golfers from more than 40 countries. Many past champions at the event have gone on to successful professional golf careers, including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Nick Price, David Toms, Amy Alcott and Brandie Burton.
