National Alliance for Accessible Golf logoThe National Alliance for Accessible Golf in the U.S. announces the launch of a search engine to assist individuals with disabilities in locating accessible golf facilities within their local area.

Interested individuals can find golf facilities across the country that offer accessibility, instruction and other programs or equipment, including adaptive golf cars. Listings can be searched by location, specific offerings or keyword. The search engine is available through the Alliance’s website, www.accessgolf.org.

Executive Director Steve Jubb explains “The launch of this online resource further fulfills the Alliance’s mission to increase the participation of people with disabilities in the game of golf by providing up-to-date information about golf facilities and opportunities to engage as a new or returning golfer.”

Alliance President Mike Tinkey noted that “the launch of this online resource provides an additional tool for consumers and facilities alike to provide accessibility, training, inclusion and golf for individuals of all abilities.”

Further, golf facilities who wish to be considered for inclusion may submit their information online at www.accessgolf.org/facilities/entry/index.cfm.
