PING Europe claimed two important honours at the annual Pro Shop Europe Trade Industry Awards, held at Wentworth Club on the evening of 7th November.
The company, who recently enjoyed another successful awards night at last month’s Foremost dinner, were presented with both the Product of the Year for their G25 Driver, and the evening’s flagship prize, Manufacturer of the Year.
“These awards are a credit to every single employee at PING and PING Europe. All have contributed to our successes in what has been another excellent product and service year for the company” said John Clark, PING Europe’s Managing Director.
The product award is the latest in a string of recognitions for the company’s famous ‘G’ families, which began with G2 in 2003. The new G25 family, which includes a driver played by leading Tour lights Lee Westwood, Bubba Watson and Hunter Mahan, was launched to great acclaim this year.
“The Product of the Year award we received is yet further evidence of the superb work of our engineers, and the entire R&D team’s continual drive to innovate,” continued Clark.
The Pro-Shop Europe Awards are held in high-regard across the European golf industry. Both of the awards PING picked up were heavily influenced by PGA Professionals across the continent, which is further example of the company’s continued commitment to working with green-grass sector.
