Bridgestone Golf, the undisputed No.1 golf ball fitter with more than 200,000 fittings, has doubled its schedule of Ball Fitting Challenges during the first half of the season across the UK & Ireland and is set to deliver record numbers of fittings throughout 2013.
The fittings, which incorporate an unrivalled computer software programme to identify the precise ball suitable for each individual player, range from Inverness in the north to Cornwall’s St. Austell in the south, and from Killeen in Co. Kildare in the west to Royal Norfolk in the east.
Among the best-known golf clubs taking part in the Ball Fitting Challenge this year are Carnoustie, Royal County Down, Foxhills, Moor Allerton, Royal Troon, Gog Magog, Formby, Royal Aberdeen, Druids Glen, Kings Links, Carmarthen, Denham and the K-Club.
“This is the most extensive ball-fitting programme ever undertaken by a single golf ball brand in the UK & Ireland and is central to the Bridgestone Golf drive here,” said Managing Director Steve Kettlewell.
A high proportion of golfers who take part in the Ball Fitting Challenge move to Bridgestone’s e-Series balls which are being promoted heavily in the media over the coming months. In addition to the domestic and North American markets, the
Bridgestone Golf Ball Fitting Challenge is being conducted in Germany, Sweden, France, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Belgium.
