Campeys are off to Europe for a Machinery Demonstration Tour

2.44am 4th May 2012 - Corporate

Following the success of the 2010 European Tour which focused heavily on sports pitch renovation, Campey Turf Care Systems, one of Europe’s largest independent machinery suppliers, is hosting a further series of demonstrations at selected European/Scandinavian sporting venues.

Entry is free to anyone interested in Golf Course maintenance and Sports Pitch renovation

The 2012 tour begins on 15th May at Hamburg Football Club with a full pitch renovation in collaboration with our European Dealers; GT Equipment and VGR and is followed by five further weeks of demonstrations at a number of selected Golf Courses and sporting venues throughoutScandinavia.

The 2012 tour will provide an excellent opportunity to introduce groundsmen and in particular this year greenkeepers across Europe andScandinavia, to a whole new range of turf maintenance equipment and renovation techniques.

It will also provide a platform to share ideas and to learn from other experts and professionals who are responsible for the maintenance regimes at some of the most interesting golf and sports clubs.

Machines in operation will be the Dakota 412 Top Dresser, Imants Sandcat, Shockwave 210, Rotoblast, Rotoknife and the new Imants Greenwave.

The Koro Recycling Dresser and the latest Koro Field Top Maker will also be in action, plus the Coremaster Xtreme launched at BTME this year.

Additional maintenance processes for seeding, brushing, and sweeping will be covered with machines from the renowned Raycam range and the recently launched T.I.P equipment for the finishing touches.

Richard Campey is very enthusiastic about the forthcoming tour. “We are always delighted at the level of interest shown by our overseas partners and their willingness to embrace new and innovative methods of grounds care and maintenance.”

Richard continued “It always astounds me that despite the language and cultural differences, the grounds care industry acrossEuropein general is very open, interested and willing to share ideas and adopt good practices.”
