European Golf Business Conference adds new service

8.30am 26th October 2007 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Delegates at November’s European Golf Business Conference (EGBC) can get a head start on their networking thanks to the event’s new conference mail community.

Hosted by the European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA), the 2007 conference is at the five-star Renaissance Hotel, Amsterdam, from 28-30 November, but the new facility enables delegates to talk and arrange meetings from 7 November until four weeks after the conference ensuring they can also track down anyone they miss.

Lodewijk Klootwijk, a director of the EGCOA, said, “The new conference mail community we have in place will ensure everyone in attendance can benefit from the event as much as possible and we’re delighted to be offering this exciting new service to our delegates.”

In addition the EGBC has signed two new sponsors, Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects and Troostwijk.

In the last four decades Robert Trent Jones II has designed more than 240 golf courses in 40 countries, establishing itself as one of the world’s pre-eminent golf course architecture firms while Troostwijk is a Netherlands-based company offering valuations, assessments and inspections for a variety of financial, insurance and business purposes.

These latest sponsors are in addition to CaddieVision, developed by Falcomedia Systems AG, Switzerland; Antwerp-based architect Mind:Style; and leading golf trade magazine Golf Management Europe.

Klootwijk continued, “The calibre of sponsors we are attracting is testament to the esteem that the European Golf Business Conference is held in by the industry. We’re looking forward to a successful event and this backing will only aid that.”
