YES! Golf is rolling out the popular C-Groove Tracy and Victoria II in pink. The Pink Tracy, a traditional blade, and Pink Victoria II, a face-balanced mallet, will be added to the line of C-Groove putters this spring.
“Currently, the pink accent line of putters is about 20% of the brand’s overall sales and the Marilyn (mallet) outsells the Tiffany (sight-aligned) by about 4 : 1,” says Peter Allison of Yes! Golf UK and Ireland.
“The commercial objective of the pink putters last year was that it was aimed at attracting lady golfers, even if it was seen as being a little whimsical,” says Peter. “But sales have been very positive and are growing. The Tracy is the winner of two U.S. Open competitions, the Women’s British Open 2005 and – alongside the Victoria II – is one of our best selling putters.”
The Pink Tracy is best suited for golfers who take the putter straight back and through. A face-balanced traditional blade putter, the Pink Tracy is made of 304 stainless steel with a head weight of 340 grams. The putter features a double bend heel shaft available in 32″-37″, loft of 2.5º, and lie of 72º with 2º flat or upright available. It also features a pink, single alignment line in the cavity of the putter. Suggested retail is £127 and will be available right hand only from April 2007.
The Pink Victoria II is a face-balanced 304 stainless steel mallet that is about 10% larger than the original Victoria and has a head weight of 370 grams. The putter features two alignment aids: a ball-width sight alignment aid on the top rail to align the ball and face and a single line in the cavity for effortless alignment with the target. The double bend heel shafted putter is available in 32″-37″, has a loft of 2.5º, and lie of 72º with 2º flat or upright available. The extra weight in the head makes this putter ideal for shorter lengths and for golfers who enjoy a slightly heavier putter. Like the Pink Tracy, the Pink Victoria II is also best suited for golfers who take the putter straight back and through. Available from April 2007 in right handed only, the Pink Victoria II has a suggested retail of £127.00.
YES! Golf now offers four models of pink putters: Pink Tracy, Pink Victoria II, Pink Marilyn and Pink Tiffany. All putters are offered with pink sight alignment lines, grip and headcover.
Harold Swash, known as the European putting doctor, introduced the innovative theory of concentric grooves in 1995. Today, C-Groove putters are taking the golf world by storm making Yes! Golf one of the fastest growing putter companies on the professional Tours.
