This IV International Conference on Golf and the Environment is focused on the analysis of the characteristics and determining factors of golf development in the Mediterranean area.
The Conference has been organised in four main sections: The Relation Between Golf Tourism and Environment; Water Requirements; Sustainable Design of Golf Courses: and Sustainable Management of Golf Courses.

Speakers and delegates will analyse the more common aspects and problems of the development of Mediterranean golf courses, with the aim of designing the basis for the definition of a pattern of sustainable development of golf courses in this area.
This Conference, which is organized by PROMOTUR, will be held in the Conference and Expositions Center of Roquetas de Mar, near Almeràa from Wednesday, 14th March – Friday 16th March.
