Premier entertainment brand TopGolf has bolstered its marketing team with the appointment of Jane Keenan.
Jane joins from Homebase where she held a contract position as Marketing Manager for six months. Before joining Homebase, she was at Epson (UK) Ltd for three years working in a Marketing Communications capacity.
Jane has previously worked for the group successfully launching the first TopGolf site in the US.
Neil Allen, TopGolf’s Chief Financial Officer, said: “Jane’s appointment comes at an exciting time for TopGolf. Both our UK and USA sites are performing well. Jane’s remit covers all three UK centres at Addlestone, Surrey, Chigwell, Essex and Watford, Hertfordshire, with a particular focus on driving footfall to the sites, increasing spend per head and overseeing seasonal and sporting activity.”
Jane said: “I’m very excited to be returning to the TopGolf marketing team, and look forward to increasing awareness of the brand in our key areas. We have a unique offering here at TopGolf. With a regional marketing executive at each of our three UK sites, there’s a real focus on customer engagement. It’s fantastic to be a part of that.”
Last weekend’s Golf LIVE saw TopGolf launch the country’s first mobile golf range. The ‘TestDrive’ mobile golf range allows golfers to test the accuracy and distance of their chip shots into a target 10 metres away.
Michael Angelides, TopGolf Marketing Manager, reports: “Feedback was very positive. The technology worked perfectly and GolfLIVE provided a great opportunity to showcase TopGolf to a wider audience. Over 1,000 people used the unit over the weekend, and TopGolf gave £950 to the Seve Ballesteros Foundation using the monies raised from player entry.”
Using TopGolf’s unique micro-chipped balls, points are fed back into a live leader board. TopGolf ‘TestDrive’ is to be showcased at events across the country.
