ASGCA offers free brochure

8.05am 25th July 2006 - Management Topics

The American Society of Golf Course Architects is offering a brochure “The Golf Course Remodelling Process – Questions & Answers,” available without charge to anyone interested in the renovation planning process.
As technology, the economy and player expectations continue to impact golf course design, many in the golf industry are exploring remodelling. The brochure addresses renovation issues in an easy-to-follow format that answers many of the basic questions that arise when undertaking such a project. These questions include topics from the most basic (Why remodel?) to how a project can be funded. Also included are a “Remodelling Checklist” and a list of resources for use during the remodelling process. The brochure is an excellent resource for use during the planning stages of a golf course redesign because it explains the process to a club or course’s green or planning committees.
To obtain a copy – available by e-mail as a PDF or by mail – of “The Golf Course Remodelling Process – Questions & Answers,” contact the American Society of Golf Course Architects by mail at 125 N. Executive Drive, Suite 106, Brookfield, Wis. 53005, by e-mail at info@asgca.org or by phone at (262) 786-5960.
