RAM Golf is introducing its ‘spellbinding‘ new Wizard putter – an attractive medium-sized mallet design that incorporates a unique sight-line system for improved accuracy and control.
The Wizard’s distinctive semi-circular club head houses RAM’s new alignment system, developed by engineers to ensure that the new club is exceptionally easy to aim. A thick black sight line works in conjunction with a 5 groove cavity system to provide a vivid alignment aid that helps golfers square the putter with its intended target at the point of impact.
A stainless steel construction, the Wizard’s semi-circular shaped putter head and deep scoop back design has allowed RAM engineers to position the club’s centre of gravity deep and low in the clubhead for additional stability and forgiveness on off centre shots.
The putter’s clubface incorporates a soft blue urethane full-face insert, proven to deliver the soft yet responsive feel that promotes superior touch and control on the greens. The lightweight nature of the face insert has permitted RAM engineers to reposition the additional weight to strategic points around the perimeter of the clubhead. Maximising the club’s launch conditions and improving its performance by producing the noticeably smoother roll that all golfers covert.
“When developing our latest Wizard putter, our design team tested numerous alignment aids and putter head combinations before concluding that the Wizard’s arrangement of a linear alignment aid housed in a mallet style putter delivered the most consistent performance results.” commented Graeme Stevens, managing director, UK Golf Services. “We are confident that these performance characteristics, coupled with the Wizard’s distinctive visual appeal, will position it as a lead putter in its price point.”
RAM’s new putter is available in a 35″ shaft with a left hand option available. The RAM Wizard putter will be available from leading golf stores and pro shops from the beginning of May with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of £34.99.
