Golfbreaks.com expands its Marketing Team

David Ford joins Golfbreaks.com as The Head of Partnerships & Brand Marketing

David will be joining a growing marketing team in a key management position as the Head of Partnerships and Brand Marketing. The role will work closely with the Marketing Director to lead the marketing team, devise strategy whilst driving innovation and growth. 

David has over 10 years’ experience within tourism. After playing golf at university in America he started out in the Ski/Surf tourism sector selling and managing the operation of trips around the world before eventually returning to golf where he initially joined Golfbreaks as part of their long haul team. He then moved on to IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators) as Head of Sales then Head of Golf Tourism Development. As part of these roles, he helped manage various international golf tourism projects for a variety of destinations looking to grow their visitor numbers and profile. He also helped run golf tourism events in North America, Asia and Europe.

Ford commented: “I’m so excited to be returning to the market leaders in golf travel and the company where I started my career in Golf Tourism. Golfbreaks.com was a huge part of the growth of my career and I’ve always been a fan of how they operate within the industry. I look forward to continuing all the relationships I’ve developed over the years along with making new ones moving forward.
