Premium golf shoe brand Duca del Cosma has strengthened its European sales team with the appointment of Keith Dicker as Sales Manager Europe. The former Golftech, Sunice and Tommy Hilfiger sales manager has joined the Duca team based in Amsterdam to help expand the number of international accounts.
Keith, who worked as Head of the Golf category with Duca owner Frank van Wezel when he was running the successful HI-TEC shoe business, is relishing the new challenge after making initial contacts on behalf of the brand at the recent PGA Show in Orlando.
The Italian fashion brand exhibited at the show for a third consecutive year, having recently opened an office and showroom in the U.S. for the first time at North Palm Beach, coupled with a warehouse facility in Atlanta.
“I couldn’t wish for a better introduction to Duca del Cosma and its tremendous potential,” said Keith. “The brand is clearly bringing something different to the golf shoe market and we were delighted with the reaction of so many buyers from across the world to the latest hand-made ranges in top quality leather and stunning colours,” he added.
Commenting on the appointment, International Sales Director Diederik Moreu said: “Keith has a lot of experience and many great contacts in the golf industry that can make a difference for us as we continue to expand worldwide. We’re looking to increase our reach and market penetration in Europe where the shoes are both designed and manufactured and his focus will be on growing the European customer base.”
Duca del Cosma offers luxury golf and lifestyle shoes in more than 30 countries worldwide and its ranges include boots and sneakers, as well as more conventional spiked sole shoes. The brand is an official sponsor of the KLM Open in Holland, supplying shoes and clothing to the volunteers at the European Tour event in September.
