The Board of Directors of Half Moon, one of the Caribbean’s most iconic resort destinations, have announced the appointment of Kevyn Cunningham PGA, as the resort’s new Director of Golf.
Born in Bedford, England, Kevyn has over 30 years of experience in the golf industry. Kevyn played successfully as an amateur before turning Professional and studying under the legendary Eddie Bullock, former Captain of The Professional Golfers’ Association.
Based in Jamaica since 1997, Kevyn headed The Leadbetter Academy at Half Moon in the late nineties before returning to assume the role of Director of Golf at the resort.
“Kevyn’s knowledge of the resort and understanding of Caribbean golf made this a perfect fit for both Half Moon and Kevyn as he focuses on expanding the teaching program for visitors and locals alike.” said Shernette Crichton, General Manager of Half Moon.
Kevyn’s appointment commenced on August 1.
