Leading trolley brand PowaKaddy has reported another successful year as a partner of TGI Golf Partnership in 2018.

Building on three successive years of record sales with TGI Golf partners, PowaKaddy achieved another extremely positive year with golf’s leading retail services group outstripping the market.

“We’re thrilled with the sales performance within the group this year, especially considering the uncertain market conditions,” said PowaKaddy CEO David Catford. “We would like to thank all the TGI Golf partners for their level of support over the last 12 months.”

Powakaddy’s C2i trolley proved a big hit with golfers in 2018

Eddie Reid, TGI Golf Managing Director, added: “Our relationship with PowaKaddy is one that we’re incredibly proud of and one we have played a huge part in rekindling over the last few years. Our partners have shown great support to the brand, while PowaKaddy has repaid our Partners with innovative products and great customer support.”

PowaKaddy’s strong performance was led by sales of the Freeway range, with the cutting-edge FW7s GPS once again proving to be a popular choice with customers. The unprecedented success of the Compact C2i was also an integral part of the company’s accomplishments, with sales of the ultra-compact trolley accounting for 59% market share for the compact sector.

“We are always keen to support PGA professionals by providing quality products that can deliver high profit margins. That is why we are building on last year’s success by launching our most complete range ever in 2019,” continued Catford. “Expanding the trolley range gives us our most balanced product offering to date and caters for the needs of every golfer.”

Complementing the 2019 trolley offering, PowaKaddy has unveiled its strongest ever cart bag range featuring state-of-the-art materials, cutting-edge design and a host of new colours.

Commenting on the new product line-up, UK Sales Manager, David Howse said: “We’re extremely excited to put our products to the test in 2019. I’m confident that our range of innovative products will offer TGI Golf partners something to suit every golfer.”
