In two days’ time it will be full swing at the Augsburg Trade Fair for the second time for GOLF EUROPE from 29 September to 1 October 2013, when professionals and representatives from the industry throughout Europe will be meeting up for what will be in total the 20th international trade fair for golf.
The leading businesses from the industry such as TaylorMade adidas Golf Company, presenting itself with the TaylorMade, adidas Golf, Ashworth and Adams Golf brands and the Wilson Sporting Goods Company, which is celebrating its centenary this year, will be represented at GOLF EUROPE. In all there will be more than 120 exhibitors covering 8,500m2 of exhibition space.
In addition to this, a high calibre support programme of events is on offer for the 2,000 or so visitors from the trade. The newly-introduced ETPI Coaching Seminar, organised by the PGA European Tour, will be providing answers to questions raised by professional golfers with the assistance of collated and evaluated scientific data about the human body, shots, and the flight of the ball. This multi-disciplinary approach, which is already applied by the European Tour players, ensures that the best possible bespoke development programme is drawn up for each individual player.
Those interested can build on their expertise at lectures given by experts free of charge in the Learn & Earn Zone organised by the PGAs of Europe and the PGA of Germany and acquire tips and ideas first-hand.
PRODUCT AWARD for the best innovations
Once again exhibitors with particularly innovative products have an opportunity to register their new products in a total of nine categories for the GOLF EUROPE PRODUCT AWARD. An independent international panel of experts filled with well-known representatives from the trade, media and professional players, will be evaluating the 60 or so product innovations handed in at the trade fair. In addition to this, there will, for the first time, be a panel consisting of members of the public, all amateur golfers.
GOLF EUROPE supports Clean Winners e.V.
Clean Winners e.V. campaigns for children in need from the age of six to sixteen. Clean-Winners-children are given support in all different types of sports from sports trainers. To this end, the association has a stand at the trade fair. Its representatives and prominent ambassadors such as the PGA professional Felix Lubenau lobby for children and youngsters from socially deprived areas in Germany.
Augsburg goes down very well with its international exhibitors and visitors
Even last year there was plenty of praise from the exhibitors and visitors because Augsburg has plenty to offer. The close proximity of the trade fair complex to the centre of town provides visitors and exhibitors with an outstanding opportunity to acquaint themselves with the town.
