The Partnership will enhance development of golf at all levels in the United Arab Emirates and the agreement includes minimum of two Challenge Tour events per year in the country. 30 spots per event will be given to local players to help expand professional golf and the Tour will also support EGF junior development initiatives

The European Tour’s Golf for Good campaign got off to fast start upon its 2021 relaunch, at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, with several initiatives across the tournament week aimed at supporting the local community, celebrating the heroes of the pandemic and promoting golf for all.

The Sultanate of Oman will once again reap the rewards of hosting a major international sporting event when the stars of the European Tour touch down for the 2020 Oman Open at the Greg Norman-designed Al Mouj Golf in Muscat, from February 27 – March 1.
