A celebration of the life of golf writer and broadcaster Renton Laidlaw is taking place at the Holy Trinity Church in St Andrews, Scotland at 1pm on Monday, April 25.

Tributes have been paid to legendary golf broadcaster and journalist Renton Laidlaw, who has died aged 82.

Broadcaster and journalist Renton Laidlaw has been awarded the 2018 PGAs of Europe Special Recognition Award for his services to, and impact upon, European golf, alongside his friend and colleague, Göran Zachrisson, who also receives the same award this year
