A Huxley Golf putting green received ‘royal approval’ when the Prince of Wales stopped to practise his short game during a visit to Celtic Manor.

The Prince of Wales will attend part of the second official practice day on Wednesday 29 September and will meet Team Captains Colin Montgomerie and Corey Pavin as well as Jim McKenzie, Director of Golf Courses and Estates Management of The Celtic Manor Resort.

Over 250 lots of golf balls, golf clubs, ceramics, books and paintings will be offered in a sale which is expected to total over £150,000 to be held at Christie’s South Kensington on 28 February
