Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa is bidding to end the almost 30-year absence of the Ryder Cup from England after launching a bid to host the biennial matches in 2031 or 2035.

The Arora Group has bought the five-star Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa from Elite Hotels for an undisclosed sum.

CubeFunder has partnered with Trinifold Sports Management to become the official sponsor of the EuroPro Tour's CubeFunder Championship presented by Trinifold Sports, which is taking place at Luton Hoo from August 10-13.
