Foremost was founded 15 years ago to help club professionals combat the activities of off-course discount retailers. It is now a retailing group, with 225 member golf professionals, offering buying, marketing and administration services to its members as well as training in general business skills.
EighteenGlobal has its headquarters in Dallas, Texas with operations in Great Britain and South Africa and launches in Australia and the United States planned for January 2001. Currently, more than 1,000 clubs, courses and pros have become EighteenGlobal partners. Approximately 120 of Foremost’s 225 pros were already EighteenGlobal partners prior to the acquisition
Golfexpo attendance figures confirmed10-11-2000
The organisers confirm that the attendance on the Trade Days of Golfexpo at Birmingham’s NEC was 4,815 and that over the weekend the show was attended by just over 10,000 members of the public. All exhibitors have been invited to review and plan for next year when Golfexpo will be partnered with the Ryder Cup
