York-based independent turf consultant, Robert Laycock, has been appointed by Marriott UK to provide agronomic support to the 11 course managers at golf courses located at Marriott Hotel and Country Clubs throughout the United Kingdom

Marc Newey, the youngest ever fellow of the Institute of Sports and Recreation Management, joins the Forest of Arden after a three-year spell at Marriott’s Hanbury Manor in Hertfordshire. Before that, he was Group Operations Manager for Jack Nicklaus Golf Centres UK
