The seven-strong contingent was selected to be part of the programme organised annually by John Deere in partnership with the British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association (BIGGA) and the Association of Turfgrass Professionals Ireland (ATPI).

The company’s latest products for greenkeepers and sports turf professionals showcase advances in battery and hybrid technologies. This will include a preview of the John Deere 2775 battery-powered riding greens mower – the first time the machine has been shown in Europe

The volunteers are chosen from each of BIGGA’s five regions, in addition to an international member, and one GSCAI member from Ireland. They will join the TPC Sawgrass maintenance and agronomy team in the build-up to The Players Championship from 9-19 March 2024
