Angela Stanford has been chosen to captain the US Solheim Cup team in 2026. A six-time veteran of the matches, and a three-time vice-captain, she will lead the team at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands, from September 11-13 next year.

Former LPGA Tour player Angela Stanford has been named as the recipient of the Golf Writers Association of America’s prestigious 2022 Charlie Bartlett Award, which is given to given to a playing professional for ‘unselfish contributions to the betterment of society’.
